Elephant Walk
Indian / Asian
"Award Winner Amoung top ten Indian restaurants in London - Charles Campion, Evening Standard". Rice & Curry are the staple food in Sri Lanka. Cinnamon grown on this paradise island off the coast of Southern India is acknowledged to be the best in the world. Clove, Cardomam and Black Pepper are spices indigenous to Sri Lanka. This coupled with a tropical variety of vegetables and seafood found in the region has given Sri Lankan Cuisine a distinct taste and feel, subtly different from traditional Indian Cuisine. A husband and wife team from Sri Lanka had a desire to start up and run a quality and stylish Sri Lankan restaurant in London. They have now achieved this goal by opening 'Elephant Walk' in June 2005. Their vision is to provide quality food prepared authentically as possible, with a polite service in a relaxing atmosphere. The 'Elephant Walk' experience is one not to be missed! You are all very welcome.

What a joke this `service` is. Original order wasn`t even logged with the restaurant even though I received email confirmation that the order had gone through. Chased after an hour only to be told the original order hadn`t been placed. Waited another hour for possibly the worse indian take-away I have had in the last 10 years. Never again. If I had been in the restaurant I would have refused to eat the food let alone pay for it. Disaster.
