My Uncle first opened the doors to Maharani at 109 Camden High Street at 1963. For more than forty years our family has been serving quality Indian cuisine to the growing Camden community. Our growth and continued success is due to three family values: Hard work, quality food and our effortless commitment to good customer service. Here at Maharani we only use fresh ingredients and quality spices. All of this is prepared with care and the same attention to detail as you would expect in a traditional Indian family home. We take pride in our reputation as an established family business, this is what we believe sets us aside from other Indian restaurants. We have acknowledged that times are changing and the diversity of the Camden community is also rapidly changing. We have focused our menu to bring a mix of traditional and contemporary dishes. We hope that the change will keep us in the forefront of Indian cuisine as it continues to evolve in Britain. I hope that in another forty years my son or nephews will be able to write a similar introduction to a future menu and will be welcoming your children or grand children to our restaurant.
