Welcome to a new and innovative restaurant in Wapping offering a unique dining experience of classic and modern Indian cuisine subtly enhanced by Thai and European influences. We aim to create a restaurant that stands on the quality of its cuisine, design and service. Ever aware of the modern health concerns shared by most discerning diners we realised that there was a demand for Indian cuisine that reflected original cooking processes and ingredients. The chemical colourings, commercial curry pastes, flavour enhancers and preservatives used by so many restaurants today have no place in our kitchen. Colourings are produced from natural ingredients like beetroot juice. Ghee has been replaced by cholesterol-friendly vegetable oil. The spices and herbs that make up our masalas are mixed, pounded, ground and prepared daily. Every dish has its own personality and the diverse flavours within each one are apparent to all the senses.
