Urbanbite is London's premier food delivery service, dedicated to providing an exceptional takeaway experience for corporate clients to those at home. With a huge mixture of respected brands such as Firezza, Itsu, Feng Sushi and Wagamama, Urbanbite offers a range of tasty cuisine to your desk or your sofa.
Urbanbite is currently focused on providing a dedicated local London service. If you’re looking for a takeaway in your local area outside of London, you can visit our partner site www.just-eat.co.uk to find over 10,000 takeaway restaurants throughout the UK. You can also visit www.just-eat.com to find the same service provided in over 14 countries across four continents.
We ask for your postcode at the beginning of the ordering process and will only show you the menus of restaurants that cover your area. We will also let you know whether the restaurants are open for business at the time that you visit the website. Some of them will allow you to order in advance in case they are closed, or if you just want to plan your delivery ahead of time.
On the restaurant listings of those that deliver in your area, you will be able to see immediately which ones are open and which may be opening later - there will be a sign displaying the words 'open' or 'closed', including the restaurant's full opening hours. You do have the option to place an advance order if the restaurant is closed.
Enter your postcode on the homepage search box. Once you’ve pressed ‘GO’, a list of restaurants that deliver in your area will appear. Select the restaurant of your choice and begin selecting the food you wish to order by clicking the ‘Add+’ button next to the item. Each item that you choose will be added to the order basket on the right hand column.
When you are ready to proceed to the next stage, click on ‘PLACE ORDER’. Please note, you have the option to enter a promotional code at this stage before placing the order. Most restaurants require a minimum order amount, which is displayed clearly on the right hand side of the page. If you have not reached the minimum order amount, then a pop-up will display to notify you of this.
You then either enter your personal/delivery details or log-in with your existing details to pre-populate the form.
If the restaurant of your choice accepts special food requests, there will be a 'special instructions' sign on the order page, where you can add your requirement.
Please ensure you fill in your delivery instructions on the order page to help the restaurant deliver your order with minimal issues.
If you want to pay by cash, then just pay the delivery person. If you prefer to pay by credit/debit card, your card will be debited at the time of placing the order. You have the opportunity to save your card details so that you don’t have to keep re-entering them each time you order. There is a tick box to do this on the payment details page. Your card details will be saved securely and safely.
Please note if you have paid by card online, some restaurants may ask you to show your card to the delivery person and sign the receipt.
Yes, you can quickly and securely register on www.urbanbite.com by clicking on the ‘MEMBER LOG-IN’ at the top of the screen. Follow the steps to fill in all the required details.
We won't store your information online and it will never be passed on to third parties without your consent (except for when you place an order and we will let the restaurant know where to deliver). We strictly use your personal information to facilitate and administer your food orders. Please click here for more information on your privacy.
No, we don't charge our customers for the service. You pay the restaurant directly for food and sometimes for delivery (extra delivery charges will always be clearly indicated) as you would over the phone.
With advance orders, you can plan your food deliveries at any time, any place. Simply select the type of food you desire, indicate that it is an advance order by clicking on the 'advance order' sign and we will immediately confirm your advance order by email. Restaurants that offer the advance order feature will always indicate the minimum and maximum time required for advance orders.
Once you click on "PAY NOW", your order will be sent direct to the restaurant electronically. You can check the status of your order on the confirmation page. If there is any issue with the restaurant not receiving the order for any reason, we will contact you straight away.
In the first instance, please contact the restaurant as soon as possible to resolve the issue straight away. The restaurant’s phone number will be found on the email confirmation.
To cancel or amend your order, please contact either the restaurant direct or speak to an Urbanbite representative. You can find the restaurant’s phone number on the email confirmation, alternatively call 0203 397 0345 for assistance from the Urbanbite team.
